Children aged 0–17 who are eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule can receive eligible basic dental services bulk-billed, up to the benefit cap. Bring your child’s Medicare card.

For children aged 15 and under who are not eligible for CDBS: a dental examination and scale and clean for $99, or your health fund gap if less.

We recommend a first visit by your child’s first birthday, or within six months of their first tooth appearing.

Preventive care and practical tips for brushing and diet to help protect children’s teeth from decay. Any extra treatment is discussed with you first.
